The Aircast StabilAir Wrist Orthosis is a lightweight, water-resistant brace designed for the treatment of post-operative distal radius fractures. Easy to use, the StabilAir can be applied quickly and easily in the office, hospital, or clinic.

Each StabilAir brace is engineered with dual, ventilated shells providing a lightweight, alternative solution for short-arm casting. These dual shells are designed to contain, stabilize, and protect the wrist.

The lightweight, ventilated design enhances comfort. The StabilAir brace is radiolucent.

Which size is right for me?

The Aircast StabilAir Wrist Orthosis Features:

Dorsal (top) shell: Flexible, with integrated adjustable aircells that conform to arm for a custom fit

Volar (bottom) shell:

Rigid to protect and stabilize
Angled to promote full finger dexterity
Contoured, variable density foam pad anatomically designed to the shape of the forearm and wrist; material is more dense directly under the wrist area to maximize support
Perforated volar pad uses moisture wicking material for comfort and breathability
Two integrated aircells:
- Over the distal radius
- Inside the perimeter of the shell: this aircell is inflated using the specialized Hand Bulb with Pressure Gauge (included with the brace) for personalized support and comfort. It is designed with an open center, creating a ventilated area that 'breathes' through the dorsal vents. A webbed liner helps reduce window edema.
